🌟 Employee Spotlight: Meet Kayla Hortelano! 🌟 We're excited to kick off our new Employee Spotlight series by introducing Kayla, a valued member of the RCT team. 💬 What do you enjoy most about working at RCT? "The people. I’m still fairly new to the chemical industry and have a lot to learn, so I really appreciate how helpful and kind everyone is when I have questions. It’s great being around a team that works hard but still keeps things fun and positive. Also, shoutout to the iconic snack drawer and popcorn machine—it’s definitely a bonus!" 🍿 💬 What advice would you give to someone starting their career in the industry? "Don’t be afraid to ask questions and stay curious. There’s no such thing as a bad question, especially when you’re learning something new. Everyone at RCT, especially my manager Mandi, has been so helpful and always makes me feel comfortable asking questions." 🤔 💬 Dream vacation destination or favorite place visited? "Two of my favorite places I’ve visited are California and Japan!" ✈️ 💬 Favorite hobby outside of work? "Going to concerts—especially KPOP concerts!" 🎶 💬 Favorite music while working? "My 'golden years' playlist filled with iconic 70s and 80s songs helps me get in the zone." 🕺🎸 💬 What’s one recent project or accomplishment you’re especially proud of? "Creating dossiers for our main suppliers. Since we often receive repeated document requests, this helps us quickly provide customers with what they need while saving time for both our regulatory and sales teams." 📁 We're grateful to have Kayla on the RCT team and appreciate the energy, curiosity, and dedication she brings every day.
