This is a very relevant regulatory update for manufacturers targeting the Australian and New Zealand markets. With the latest amendment to AS/NZS 4417.2:2020, products such as EVSE, BESS and Portable Power Stations will move to RCM Risk Level 3. This means that a Certificate of Approval (CoA) will be required. Although the transition period runs until February 2028, manufacturers should not wait until the deadline approaches. For complex power electronics products, testing, report review and technical documentation can take significantly longer than expected, and depending on the product type and applicable standard, additional glow-wire testing may be required. TÜV Rheinland can already support CoA applications for these product categories and help manufacturers prepare the required approval steps early. Early planning helps avoid last-minute issues and supports a smoother market entry into Australia and New Zealand.   #GlobalMarketAccess #Export #RCM #EVSE #BESS #Australia #NewZealand #RegulatoryCompliance #ProductCertification
