Beam Mobility is running our Summer of Safety campaign, using smart technology, rider education and on-the-ground teams to help prevent intoxicated riding. On key festive dates, including Christmas and New Year's Eve, riders are required to pass Beam’s in-app 'Rider Check' cognitive reaction test before starting a trip. If a rider doesn’t pass, they’re locked out and encouraged to choose a safer way home. Helping riders to pause, think, and make safer choices before they ride.
