Now more than ever we can appreciate how important business relationships are. In my role and equation for success there’s always been an even split between ‘what you know’ and ‘who you know’. Heading up land department for South West I was expecting a slow down in the businesses, however I’m very pleased to see that medium and long term projects have got appetite and ongoing momentum - 4 offers and heads of terms sent out already this week and it’s only Wednesday! This wouldn’t have happened without the strong business relationships I was able to make, which help to see the wood between the trees when issues occur - from highways and planning to funding and legalities.
