Glasgow director who imported raw tobacco hidden in furniture banned and fined Fazle Masum, 42, of Glasgow, imported the product into Scotland without the approval from HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC). Masum was disqualified as a company director for eight years at Glasgow Sheriff Court on June 8. This strikes me as requiring more than just a directorship ban. However, always seek advise - early.
