Vice President, AWS Financial Services

Some personal news. After five years leading Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Australia and New Zealand, I'm moving to New York to lead AWS's Global Financial Services Industries. To our Australia and New Zealand customers and partners: Thank you! You trusted us with your boldest ideas and challenged us to build alongside you. Every region we launched, every capability we built, it started with one of you saying "help us build this." What we achieved together, from new infrastructure to landmark partnerships across industries, happened because of that trust. To the AWS ANZ team: I have loved working with you all. You brought energy, creativity, heart and a lot of fun to everything we do. You care deeply about customers and their outcomes, and you work backwards from them every day. You made me better along the way, and I will carry what you taught me into what I do next. Thanks team! I'm excited about what's ahead with the Global FSI team and customers. I want to thank Scott Mullins, who built the FSI business at AWS over 12 years, from the very first industry hire to a truly global organisation. Scott, the foundation you laid is remarkable, and I don't take lightly the privilege of building on it. I'm glad that Chris Casey is stepping into the ANZ role. Chris is a builder who goes deep on what matters, and I couldn't be more confident in what comes next for ANZ. On a personal note, these five years have been an incredibly important chapter in my life, not just professionally, but also for my family. I'm deeply grateful for the experience, the support, and the people who make this part of the world, Australia and New Zealand, so special. Thank you all. It's been a privilege.
