Moleskine, Alice’s Adventures In Paperland Rogier Wieland Studio: The Hague, South Holland, The Netherlands The Moleskine Company, headquartered in Milan, Italy, publishes and produces luxury stationery designs, various accessories, and the famous Moleskine notebooks, successors to the legendary notebooks used by artists and thinkers over the past two centuries: among them Vincent Van Gogh, Ernest Hemingway, and English travel writer, novelist and journalist, Bruce Chatwin. Innovative film director and animator Rogier Wieland, using paper-cut art, optical illusions, 2D and Stop Motion animation, as well as a live rabbit, produced a mesmerising introduction, with a ‘behind-the-scenes’ reveal, to Moleskine’s homage to Lewis Carroll's literary classic, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Working closely with The British Library, Moleskine has reproduced original illustrations by English graphic humorist, and political cartoonist, Sir John Tenniel, and a page of Lewis Carroll's original handwritten manuscript, in an imaginative redesign of the original black rectangle notebook, with its rounded corners, elastic closure, and ribbon bookmark.  Inviting viewers to open themselves up to a world where the real, and the imagined collide for a creative journey like no other, Rogier Wieland's ‘tumble down the rabbit hole’, of Moleskine’s literary roots, is a highly appealing proposition of noteworthy persuasiveness.   https://rianswart.co.za/
