This week, the Maryland Protecting Artists’ Creative Expression (PACE) Act was signed into law. This bill helps ensure lyrics and other creative expressions cannot be used as criminal evidence without clear relevance to a specific crime.   Thank you to Maryland Gov. Wes Moore and Delegate Marlon Amprey for supporting creators and protecting artistic freedom.
