Wind farms start long before the turbines. They start with logistics. On Global Wind Day, we’re highlighting a project supporting wind energy development in Türkiye. As demand increased, a global manufacturer needed a logistics partner capable of handling oversized cargo, fluctuating volumes and an evolving regulatory landscape. We implemented an integrated setup combining multimodal transport, TRW and OOG cargo handling. 62 turbine sets delivered. Three blades per set, each 70 meters long. The result: ✔ Improved supply chain visibility ✔ Stable just-in-time deliveries ✔ Up to 12% warehousing cost savings A clear example of how integrated logistics supports the rollout of wind energy. #Rhenus #Logistics #EnergyTransition
