🌏 The journeys behind the engineers 🌏 Sometimes the path to engineering starts with a fascination for maths and physics. Sometimes it’s sparked by a parent repairing appliances in the garage. Sometimes it’s curiosity, creativity - or simply the courage to try something new. As we celebrate International Women in Engineering Day on June 23rd, women across our international teams reflect on the moments that inspired them to pursue careers in engineering. 🇦🇺DeeDee from Australia was drawn to the unique combination of logic and imagination: 📢“Engineering combines analytical thinking with creativity. And I have always enjoyed creating things.” 🇭🇷In Croatia, Monikas´ interest in mathematics and physics grew through the influence of her brother studying electrical engineering: 📢“Watching him, I decided to step out of my comfort zone, give myself a chance, and try.” 🇮🇳And in India, Devyani’s fascination began by watching her father work with machines: 📢“Watching my father assemble and disassemble machines sparked my interest.” Different journeys. Different cultures. One shared passion for innovation and problem-solving. Over the coming week, we’re proud to celebrate women shaping engineering across our business and around the world — and the diverse perspectives that drive progress forward every day. #WomenInEngineering #INWED #Engineering #Rheinmetall #CSIstories #respect #trust #openness
