Yesterday, on #InternationalWomenInEngineeringDay, we were proud to welcome the @UWEFormulaStudent team to Rheinmetall UK’s headquarters for a morning dedicated to innovation, collaboration and engineering excellence. With just two weeks to go until their Formula Student competitions at Silverstone and in Spain, it was fantastic to hear first-hand about the challenges, responsibilities and technical expertise involved in designing, building and racing a competitive vehicle. Our team showcased some of Rheinmetall UK’s latest capabilities, including Mission Master, Shadow Wolf, our 4x4 offering for the LMV programme, and our work supporting the UK’s military logistics fleet. Most importantly, the day provided us with the opportunity to connect with talented young women pursuing careers in engineering. Their passion, determination and fresh perspectives are exactly what our industry needs to continue innovating and growing. At Rheinmetall UK, we believe investing in STEM, engaging with local communities and creating opportunities for future engineers is vital. By supporting and inspiring the next generation of talent, we’re helping to build a stronger, more diverse engineering workforce for the future.
