90% of companies with AI in production rely on integration platforms. Not a specific model or vendor — infrastructure. That’s the headline finding from a study Celigo ran with MIT Technology Review, surveying 500+ tech executives on what actually separates companies scaling AI from the ones still stuck in pilot mode. The bottleneck isn’t AI. It’s the operational gap: → Data silos → Undefined processes → No governance layer RevOps has been solving this problem for years. AI just makes it more visible. Brian Knaupe, Sandeep Kumar, and Youssef Zouhairi joined RevOps Co-op to show how they’re closing that gap — and demoed it live. 🔍 One example that stood out: a Customer 360 agent pulling data from Salesforce, Gong, ERP, Zendesk, and Snowflake to deliver a full account brief in Slack — including risks buried in call transcripts that never made it into the CRM. An important moment wasn’t the demo. It was this: 💬 “Just because you can build an agent to do a thing doesn’t mean that you should.” — Matthew Volm In many cases, structured workflows with a layer of AI outperform fully autonomous agents — and are far easier to scale. If you're thinking about AI in RevOps, the real question isn’t what model or tool to use. It’s whether you’ve built the infrastructure to support it.
