♻️ Germany is taking the next step in strengthening its circular economy. 🇩🇪 We were delighted to take part in last week's exchange at the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection following the adoption of the new Action Programme for the National Circular Economy Strategy (NKWS) by the German Federal Cabinet. It was a great opportunity for our CEO, Filipe Costa, to exchange perspectives with Federal Environment Minister Carsten Schneider and other key stakeholders on how circularity can strengthen Germany’s industrial resilience, innovation capacity and resource independence. As a battery recycling company, we strongly welcome the growing political and public focus on circular economy solutions. The recovery of critical raw materials, investment in innovative recycling technologies, digital product passports and stronger circular value chains are all essential building blocks for a more sustainable and competitive future.🔋 The inclusion of battery recycling and critical raw material recovery as key elements of Germany’s circular economy agenda highlights the increasing importance of closing material loops and building resilient supply chains across Europe.
