Advancing Total Endovascular Aortic Arch Repair The Revista Argentina de Cardioangiología Intervencionista (RACI) proudly highlights this groundbreaking case report by Giuliana Gnoatto et al., describing the first experience in Argentina using the NEXUS™ aortic arch endograft for the treatment of chronic type A aortic dissection after previous surgical repair. This challenging case demonstrates how dedicated endovascular arch technologies are transforming the management of complex aortic disease in patients considered prohibitive surgical candidates. The authors successfully performed: 1. Supra-aortic debranching 2. Total endovascular aortic arch repair in zone 0 3. Implantation of the NEXUS™ dedicated arch system 4. Complete exclusion of the false lumen without neurological complications Importantly, this report provides valuable technical insights regarding landing zone optimization, staged strategy planning, through-and-through techniques, rapid pacing deployment, and management of complex redo aortic anatomy. This first Argentine experience represents an important milestone in the evolution of advanced aortic interventions in Latin America and highlights the growing role of dedicated branched arch endografts as a less invasive alternative to high-risk open or hybrid surgery. 👏 Congratulations to the authors for this outstanding contribution to contemporary endovascular aortic therapy. 📖 https://lnkd.in/dAujZhpM CACI Colegio Argentino de Cardioangiologos Giuliana Gnoatto Grigolatto Andres Mazuquin Francisco Goldaracena Sebastián Pablo Peralta Marcelo Bettinotti Artivion, Inc.Artivion EMEA Artivion LATAM #RACI #AorticArch #TypeADissection #EndovascularTherapy #NEXUS #TEVAR #AorticDisease #ComplexAorticInterventions #StructuralHeart #EndovascularInnovation #InterventionalCardiology #Zone0 #AorticRepair #LatinAmericaCardiology #MedicalInnovation
