A huge welcome to Jack Stenning, who joins Respiro Diagnostics as our new Research Scientist 🔬✨ Jack joins us at a pivotal moment as we continue building our non-invasive, breath-based diagnostics platform to improve outcomes for lung cancer patients. He brings a fantastic blend of academic and translational experience. After studying Biochemistry at the University of Leeds, Jack moved to Cambridge where he worked at the BRC Phenotyping Hub at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, developing a strong appreciation for the realities of generating high-quality biological data in clinical settings. He later contributed to the Human Cell Atlas project at the University of Cambridge, processing primary tissue samples for next-generation sequencing as part of a large, cross-institutional collaboration 🧬 More recently, Jack completed his PhD at the University of York (congrats on passing your viva earlier this year 🎉)! At Respiro, Jack will be working closely with Theo, our CSO, in our York labs. His work will directly support our clinical studies and product development as we push towards real-world impact, and he's already off to an incredible start.
