We are proud to announce the launch of Resolution Films International, unveiled today at Web Summit Qatar 2026. As Resolution Films enters its 20th year of continuous operation in Qatar, this marks a major milestone in our journey and a natural evolution of our role within the global screen industries. Licensed by Media City Qatar, Resolution Films International has been established as a sister company to Resolution Films Qatar. Its purpose is clear. To expand our international footprint, support inbound global film and television productions into Qatar, and take locally developed film and television IP to international markets. Since 2006, Resolution Films Qatar has built a trusted reputation across government, culture, sport, and entertainment. This next chapter reflects both the maturity of Qatar’s creative ecosystem and its growing position on the world stage. Resolution Films International will focus on high end film and television development, international co productions, production services, and the financing, packaging, and distribution of original intellectual property. We will work closely with international studios, streamers, financiers, and creative partners, while remaining deeply rooted in Qatar. As our Group CEO Simon Ferguson (MMII) shared at Web Summit, this launch represents not just the growth of our company, but the growth of the creative ecosystem around us. It allows local talent, stories, and production capability to connect directly with the global market, while continuing to support productions choosing Qatar as their base. Aligned with Qatar National Vision 2030, Resolution Films International contributes to the growth of the creative economy, encourages knowledge transfer, and strengthens Qatar’s position as a destination for premium film and television production.
