We are proud to congratulate Julie Caddy, a teacher from Merewether High School in Newcastle, on receiving the 2026 Premier’s Reserve Bank of Australia Economics Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded in partnership with the NSW Department of Education and supports outstanding educators with a passion for economics and public policy. Julie’s study tour is titled ‘Closing the Gender Confidence Gap’, and will explore ways to encourage more female students to study economics in the senior years. We look forward to working with Julie on this important project.
