📢 Call for Papers: INVALSI Conference 2026 – Evaluation and Research in Education  📅 4–6 November 2026  📍 Lecco, Italy We are pleased to announce our contribution to Session 6 – Data Literacy and Data Use in Schools: Emerging Practices, Challenges, and Professional Cultures, coordinated by Davide Azzolini and Veronica Mobilio (Fondazione per la Scuola) at the INVALSI 2026 – Evaluation and Research in Education conference. In recent years, schools have gained access to an expanding ecosystem of educational data: standardised assessment results, digital platform analytics, administrative and behavioural records, and—more recently—AI‑generated indicators. This transformation is reshaping instructional practices, school governance, organisational processes, and professional cultures. The session will explore key questions at the intersection of research, policy, and practice, including: • Data literacy across school actors • How teachers and leaders use different types of data • Variations across school levels, types, and professional profiles • School‑ and system‑level strategies for meaningful data use • The role of AI‑based tools in shaping data cultures • Equity, access, and professional development We welcome empirical studies, conceptual contributions, and policy‑oriented analyses focusing on the Italian context as well as comparative perspectives from other education systems. ⏳ Abstract submission deadline: 26 June 2026  🔗 Call for papers: https://lnkd.in/d-ystcpg European Schoolnet Patrizia Falzetti Tommaso Agasisti
