After a collapsed bridge dumped 10 tanker cars carrying asphalt materials into the Yellowstone River, more than 150 of our professionally trained responders deployed to the scene to establish an emergency response in conjunction with the Environmental Protection Agency and others to clean up the spilled asphalt and remove the rail cars from the river. Over the course of two months, our team logged more than 30,000 miles in a 121-mile stretch of the Yellowstone River to remove over 230,000 pounds of asphalt. Our emergency response team compliantly remediated the area, mitigating the environmental impact of the incident.
