We are excited to announce the successful completion of the first three GMP batches using a cell line developed in-house with our cutting-edge Rentschler Expression Platform. This milestone is the result of dedicated efforts across our teams, from cell line development to manufacturing. Our state-of-the-art expression platform was designed with the complexity of modern biotherapeutics in mind. It unleashes the full potential of therapeutic protein expression for manufacturing and addresses challenges in cell line development, like “difficult to express” (expressibility), product-related impurities, and bioprocess compatibility. The platform integrates transposase-mediated gene transfer with a GS knockout CHO K1 host to ensure robust, reproducible expression, all in collaboration with ATUM and Revvity.
