New paper on the EU Forest Strategy for 2030 and the future of biodiversity in forests! We, Sarah Deutscher, Vera Braun, and Remmer Sassen explore how the new strategy could support biodiversity management in Saxony, where forests are increasingly affected by climate change and heat stress. Based on interviews with key stakeholders from forest enterprises and nature conservation organizations, the study highlights both the opportunities and the challenges of turning policy goals into real change on the ground. https://lnkd.in/eFhmusmQ #Biodiversity #ForestManagement #EUForestStrategy #ClimateChange #Sustainability #Research Leyla Azizi, Vera Braun, Yu-Shan Lin Feuer, Ronja Paleit, Prof. Dr. Christoph Scope, Stefanie Kast, Internationales Hochschulinstitut (IHI) Zittau (TU Dresden), Fakultät Wirtschaftswissenschaften, TU Dresden, Olivia Staub, Sarah Bärsch, Max Drake, Lisa Junge, Albert Martin Baena Regel, Nikola Gottlieberova, Laura Hoffmann, Hedwig K., Martha Adolphi, Ghada Amin, Andre Lindner, Uta Schwarz, Masoud Rahmani, Peter Eisenschmidt, Kulsith Bimsara, Sravan Rajnayan, Madlen Sobkowiak, Thomas Schlomski, Stefan Hörmann, Louisa Lösing, Marion Hammerl, Dr. Frauke Fischer, Veronica Veneziano, Claudia Brueck, Kristin Heckmann-Kipouros, Gudrun Messias, Michael Hölzinger, Karsten Wesche, Anton Potapov, Hjalmar Kühl
