Internal communications plays an important role in how organisations operate day to day. It shapes how people experience change, how leadership messages are understood and how connected teams feel to the wider business. At RELX, employee engagement and advocacy have been rising over more than a decade and are now at all-time highs. This progress reflects a consistent focus on internal communications as a strategic capability, supported by better use of data and, more recently, AI.
