One thing my field research has taught me is this: Agricultural markets run on trust before they run on transactions. When I first started, I thought if farmers had good produce and restaurants needed fresh vegetables, connecting them would be straightforward. I was wrong. After speaking with restaurant managers, market traders, and women farmers, I’ve realized that supply chains are built on relationships that have often taken years to develop. A restaurant doesn’t just buy vegetables. It buys consistency. It buys reliability. It buys the confidence that tomorrow’s delivery will arrive just like today’s. That’s why replacing an existing supplier is much harder than I imagined. For anyone building in agriculture, understanding human relationships may be just as important as understanding the product itself. I’m still learning. I’m still connecting the dots. Education is my Advantage. Rejoice Uzodinma #BuildingInPublic #AgriTech #Nigeria #Farmers #SDG2 #ZeroHunger #WomenFarmers #AfricanFounders
