The Food Parcel Project by Newmarket Churches Together made a real difference in the lives of low income families during the first lockdown. A number of volunteers collected and daily distributed food donated by companies and individuals. What I loved about this interview (the shortest one from all other interviews) was James' unwavering determination, which in my opinion was one of the main reasons for the success of the project. From the interview with Revd James Hurst / Chapter in Our Lives / Photography project "Every time there is a problem - and there have been all sorts of problems - a solution comes along very soon afterwards. Sometimes I don’t remember even praying for a solution, but I think God knows that we need it. And then it amazingly it comes along. Completely unbid for. “I know that you would expect a minister of religion to say something like that, but if anyone had any doubt there is somebody looking after us, I had no doubts whatsoever.” There is a tremendous support for this project [The Food Parcel Project] which gives me the faith to just keep going on” #portraitphotography #inspiredbypeople #keyworkers #foodparcel #churches #lockdown2020 #covid19 #acesupported #creativepeopleandplaces #babylongallery #documentaryphotography #inspiredbypeople
