Europe wants to lead the circular economy, but when it comes to e-waste, we are still treating the symptoms rather than the cause. ⚠️ Too many devices are replaced long before the end of their life. And while recycling remains important, it cannot solve a system built around constant replacement. The next step requires action from both policymakers and businesses: 🏛️ Policymakers need to create the right incentives for repair, reuse, and refurbishment. 🏢 Businesses need to design products that last longer, remain repairable, and can successfully enter a second life. The good news? Circular business models are no longer just a sustainability topic. They are increasingly becoming a competitive advantage.
