📢 The BGFA Annual Results Report 2025 is out now! By the end of 2025, companies supported by the Beyond the Grid Fund for Africa had connected over 4.3 million people in sub-Saharan Africa to reliable, renewable energy access. Here's what we've achieved: 🔌 845,800+ energy service connections established 💶 EUR 26 million disbursed in results-based financing 🏢 ~7,500 African businesses supported 💰 EUR 98.3 million in co-financing leveraged ⚡ 47,383 MWh of electricity produced BGFA continues to show that competitive, results-based financing works - scaling clean energy access while safeguarding long‑term market sustainability, even in fragile and underserved contexts.
