It’s hard to describe in words what we actually did this summer and it’s even harder to believe it. Just under 2 years ago, a few of us started a group chat to support one another in our efforts to do something meaningful with our time. It’s wild to think that that moment has now lead us to manage a batch of 70 founders and 20 startups whilst we’re working full-time. We’re not like any other accelerator, we’re not just another entrepreneurial community, there’s already so much noise in this space and we don’t want to add to the slop. So we decided to be the safe space for founders, the first place they turn to when they want to build. And to really prove we care, we intentionally took 0 equity and 0 fees. In fact, we went one step further and reimbursed batch members’ travel to central London for every build weekend and provided them office space for free all thanks to our lovely sponsors. It still amazes us how the only true way to cut through noise is to provide real value, put others first, keep intentions sincere and focus on building the people behind exceptional companies.
