June Fejo is part of our Top End Community Advisory Group. Having June represent and influence the decisions we make based in the communities we work in, including her own, allows us to continue supporting young people by meeting them where they’re at. This initiative brings together community leaders from some of the places we work across including, Tiwi Islands, Minjilang, Gunbalanya, Peppimenarti, Larrakia (Darwin), and Bagot and is a way to ensure culture and remote voices lead us as we move forward as an organisation. The value and work of this group cannot be understated, and we look forward to building a future where we continue to walk together in supporting First Nations communities.
