Honey ants (yerramp) and screen printing on Anmatjere country (Engawala)! Red Dusts Strong Young Womens desert program team were on country recently teaching and passing down traditional knowledge of gathering honey ants . Our Program Faciliator Emma brought together different generations of women and girls to share and practice culture by learning together. Having programs like this available to young women helps keep them strong and healthy in their identity and culture, while empowering them to become leaders among their families and peers. We're so proud to be a part of that journey. Big thanks to The Polly Farmer Foundation for partnering with us on this program. P.s. Check out the deadly new shirts the girls got to create!
