Former world champions Carissa Moore and Ítalo Ferreira returned to the top of the World Surf League podium at the New Zealand Pro, both securing their first Championship Tour victories since becoming parents. Competing in clean four-to-five-foot waves at Raglan’s Manu Bay, Moore delivered one of the most consistent performances of the event, including a near-perfect 19-point semi-final before defeating Sawyer Lindblad in the final. The win marked her first CT title since 2023 and moved the five-time world champion to No. 2 on the all-time CT win list. “This is for the moms, never stop dreaming if you want to,” Moore said after the victory. “The win means so much to me.” On the men’s side, Ítalo Ferreira powered through an all-Brazilian semi-final before defeating Australia’s Morgan Cibilic in the final with a combination of progressive airs and high-scoring waves. The result marked Ferreira’s 11th Championship Tour win and moved him to the top of the 2026 rankings. “I’m so stoked to win a comp on a real left,” Ferreira said. “Dad's power, right? I'm so happy.” More photos and full story here > https://win.gs/4x9pqiH
