Teamwork makes the dream work when it comes to building Reckon’s products, and these legends just released an exciting new update to Reckon Mate 🚀 Now, business owners can invite their new staff members to download the Reckon Mate app and fill out their personal, banking, tax, and super details directly from their smartphone. It’s fast, secure, and fully synced with Reckon Payroll, which saves time (and headaches) when welcoming new employees! Making this possible was a massive cross-team effort from Reckon’s tech team, with hundreds of hours of meetings, coding, and testing going into the update 😱 Credit where credit is due: 🛠️ Development: Arian Xerdan Pascual, Emma Grant, Julius Estrada, and Michael Scovell did the heavy lifting to build and refine the feature for our Payroll web app, while Dave Cadelina, Denniel Diaz, and Sung Rin (Jimmy) Rhee did an awesome job streamlining the onboarding form and invitation process for mobile. Everyone kept the user experience in mind at all times.  👀 Quality Assurance: Elvis Olic ensured everything was rock solid before release for the web team, and Shane Brown conducted rigorous testing on the mobile app. This means catching all those pesky bugs and raising any concerns to prevent future issues for our users.  ✅ Final Product: Sharon Anderson led the charge to shape the vision, define user stories, and keep everything aligned with customer needs for the web app, while Yolanda Gu and Johnnie Li worked on the business requirements for the mobile app to ensure clear communication with other teams and a deep understanding of user needs. “When each part of the team brings their strengths together and stays connected, the result is something we can all be proud of,” explains Anderson. “We saw firsthand how valuable cross-team collaboration is, and delivered an experience that makes onboarding in Reckon Mate smoother for employees from day one!” “It was amazing to collaborate with other teams across Reckon and gain a deeper understanding of our products and the people behind them,” adds Rhee. “Connecting our apps—Payroll web/mobile and Mate—was a valuable experience that created great connectivity.” Fantastic effort all: well done! 👏
