A couple of weeks ago, we had some very special guests at our automated grading hub in Berlin-Siemensstadt: KiKA von ARD und ZDF’s Team Timster! 🎬 It was an absolute pleasure showing Soraya Jamal around our facilities and helping educate the next generation on the "why" and "how" of giving mobile devices a second life. We even had a little twist for the episode: our Chief People Officer Janina Cußmann switched roles for the day, stepping onto the floor to show the crew exactly how we unpack, clean, and grade devices! 🛠️📱 The final episode is now live: “Dein 1. Handy: Was drinsteckt und was wichtig ist” (Your First Cell Phone: What's Inside and What Matters). While getting a first smartphone is a massive milestone for kids, parents often view it as a bit of a necessary evil. We love that we got to show families that it doesn't have to be expensive or wasteful. Choosing a pre-loved device is the ultimate hack for a first phone. It’s significantly kinder to the wallet, and it actively reduces e-waste.
