𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱? You get a new generation of precision neurosurgery. At the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗨𝗩𝗔 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗨𝗹𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁, Rebrain was proud to highlight how advanced targeting strategies are helping unlock the full potential of MR-guided focused ultrasound. As the field continues to evolve, the discussions extended far beyond functional neurosurgery, showcasing exciting applications in neuromodulation, cardiology, oncology, immuno-oncology, and drug delivery. Together, these innovations are helping pave the way toward a new era of precision, non-invasive medicine. We are especially proud to celebrate the recipients of the Future of FUS Poster Award: Abhinav K., first author, and Matteo Gionso, presenter, for their work titled: “𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘳 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘢𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘔𝘙-𝘨𝘶𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘤𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘵𝘰𝘮𝘺 𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘤𝘦𝘥𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘈𝘐-𝘣𝘢𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘺𝘴𝘦𝘴.” This work reflects the growing role of data-based targeting in advancing the next generation of functional neurosurgery. Thank you again to the University of Virginia team for the valuable exchanges and outstanding organization of this inaugural summit, including Natasha Sheybani, Shayan Moosa, Alan Matsumoto, Richard Price, Lauren Hadley, MD, (from Focused Ultrasound Foundation) Colleen Duffy, and Holland Hersey.
