Spent part of my sunny afternoon at the Discover Northamptonshire hub at Rushden Lakes today, having a lovely chat with Georgia Wales and Michala Scott from The Chester House Estate about how we might support each other and work together. If you haven't been in, it's worth a visit. There's information on tourism across the county, a great little selection of local goods to buy, and even a book swap if you fancy leaving one and taking another home. It's exactly the kind of thing I love about this county. Small conversations like this one are usually where the best collaborations start, not in a boardroom, but standing next to a shelf of local honey and handmade jewellery.
