Today, I visited Ronald McDonald House Charities Ireland and I was genuinely blown away by the work they do. They provide a home-from-home for families while their children are in hospital which keeps parents and siblings close at a time when being together really matters. You can feel the care, warmth and support the minute you walk through the door. It’s practical help, but it’s also emotional support, and that makes a huge difference. It was also great to hear about their move to their new house (double the size) at the National Children’s Hospital. Being right beside the hospital will mean even more families can be supported, at what’s often the hardest time of their lives. It’s a brilliant organisation doing really important work. If you ever get the chance to support them, please do. Louise Quail Joe Kenny
