Ready Set is proud to support the Buldau Yioohgen (“Big Dreams”) program—an initiative creating meaningful opportunities for young First Peoples through cultural connection, on Country experiences, education, and training. Delivered by Anglicare Victoria and led by First Peoples staff, Elders, and respected community members, the program works in partnership with Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations to support young people, their families, and communities. For many young First Peoples, experiences of disruption and disconnection from Country, Culture, and community continue to have lasting impacts. Rebuilding these connections is vital—supporting identity, resilience, and a strong sense of belonging. Buldau Yioohgen plays an important role in strengthening these connections, empowering young people to carry cultural strength into opportunities for education and employment. We were honoured to support Travis, a participant in the program, who recently visited Ready Set for interview clothing—helping him feel confident and prepared for the next step in his journey. #melbourne #charity #firstnation
