𝐀 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐞𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐲𝐫𝐢𝐚 We are pleased to share an important milestone in React's enforcement work in Syria. Through close coordination between React, our members, our local partner Gulf IPE, and the relevant Syrian authorities, a successful enforcement action was recently carried out in Damascus against counterfeit goods. This action followed careful preparation, documentation, authority engagement, and local follow-up, with involvement from the Public Prosecution and the Department of Commercial and Industrial Property Protection under the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade. For us, this is more than a single enforcement result. It shows how persistence, trusted local relationships, and authority cooperation can turn information into action, even in challenging enforcement environments. We are grateful to the authorities and our local partner for their professionalism and support, and we look forward to building on this momentum to further protect consumers, legitimate trade, and intellectual property rights in the region.
