𝐌𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐢𝐭 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐬 𝐬𝐞𝐢𝐳𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 During an inspection in Amstelveen and Nieuw-Vennep, authorities intercepted five trucks loaded with counterfeit branded clothing and accessories. The estimated retail value of the seized goods is €1.5 million. React was notified to support the involved brands in pursuing trademark infringement cases. At the same time, React will initiate an investigation into the origin and destination of the goods. This case is another reminder that counterfeiting is far from a victimless crime. Counterfeit trade is often linked to organized criminal networks, exploits legitimate supply chains, and causes significant damage to brand owners, consumers, and the wider economy.
