Selected to represent India at Bharat Innovates 2026, an initiative of the MINISTRY OF EDUCATION, GOVERNMENT OF INDIA, being held in Nice, France, Agnikul is among a select group of deep-tech startups presenting breakthrough technologies to global investors, industry leaders, and research partners. Founded at IIT Madras by Srinath Ravichandran, Co-founder & CEO, and Moin SPM, Co-founder & COO, under the guidance of Prof. Satya Chakravarthy of the Department of Aerospace Engineering, IIT Madras, Agnikul is pioneering affordable, customizable access to space through its small-satellite launch vehicles. Founded in 2017 and incubated at IIT Madras, the company achieved a historic milestone in 2024 with the launch of Agnibaan, powered by the world’s first single-piece 3D-printed semi-cryogenic rocket engine, Agnilet, from India’s first private launchpad.
