“Anzac Day is about honouring my family and others who have served under our flag, including my daughter Louisa who served in the Navy for 21 years. It’s also a time to reflect on how grateful I am to call Australia home,” shares Rhonda, Senior Administration Associate, Combat Systems Support Facilities (CSSF). Inspired by Louisa and generations of family members who served in the ADF, Rhonda joined the Royal Australian Navy at age 40. A journey of self-discovery, Rhonda was deployed across naval stores and military logistics, with her fondest memories serving aboard HMAS Tobruk and representing the Navy in dragon boat racing in Penang, Malaysia. While deployed on HMAS Success, Rhonda attended a dawn service on the helicopter flight deck, watching the sun rise over the ocean - a moment she will never forget. Today, under Raytheon Australia’s CSMF - CSSF Operating Support Plan, Rhonda provides critical administrative support to the CSSF, helping ensure operational readiness of the training facility. 📸 Rhonda (right) with her father Dave and daughter Louisa on Anzac Day, 2017.
