Two years ago, we launched our first KUMA Lab in rural India. Today? We went back. After a 2-hour drive from Pune to Belsar, I was welcomed with singing, dancing, and some very familiar faces. The students had grown taller, bolder, more confident in their voices. They delivered speeches. Performed with heart. And during our Q&A, they asked questions ranging from STEM education to my favorite thing about India. (Answer: The people.) Though I had an interpreter, most of the students insisted on speaking English, because they wanted me to understand their words, not someone else’s. That effort meant everything. And just when I thought the day couldn’t be more powerful... We drove to Khalad for the opening of our newest KUMA Lab. I was paraded into the village on an ox, dressed in a ceremonial headdress, surrounded by music and joy. No PowerPoint. Just purpose, tradition, and the start of another learning revolution. These kids aren’t just studying STEM. They’re becoming builders of futures their parents only dreamed of. And before the day was done? Another school reached out. They want a Lab too. This is how access grows. One village at a time. This is why we do it. This is the Kuma Foundation. 💙 (Share this to spread the mission ♻️) P.S. What questions would you ask these students? #STEM #India
