I always write a handwritten note with every piece I sell online - “Thanks a million for your purchase and support. It’s very much appreciated.” 🙏🏻 Well, Dr Mike Thompson has single-handedly put about 12 biros out of action. He hasn’t just bought a few prints - he’s built a full-blown love letter to Cork in his waiting room in Imokilly Medical Centre in Midleton. The kind of thing that would make Michael Collins blush and have a Kerryman reaching for a Cork jersey. 😜 In all seriousness though, I don’t take that kind of support lightly. A waiting room is a space where people spend real time, and the fact my art gets to be part of that means the absolute world to me. 🙏🏻 So thank you, Dr Mike - genuinely. I really appreciate the support, and the effort of sending on the video as well. 🙏🏻😀 At this stage, I’m considering putting Dr Mike forward for canonisation… Patron Saint of Ray.
