Recently, RANZCOG proudly celebrated the College's newest Fellows, Subspecialists and award-recipients from across Aotearoa New Zealand during the Elevation Ceremony, preceding the Aotearoa ASM 2026. Achieving Fellowship is a significant milestone, representing years of rigorous training, study, dedication and perseverance. We recognise that many of our new Fellows have reached this point while also balancing family, caring responsibilities and the competing demands of everyday life. Your resilience, commitment and sacrifice are a testament to the passion you bring to caring for wāhine and whānau. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all on reaching this significant milestone. Your achievement marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter. The connections formed during training become an invaluable support network throughout specialist practice, and College membership offers opportunities to continue building a strong professional community. Fellowship is much more than postnominals after your name; it reflects your ability to lead, influence and create positive change within the profession and the communities you serve. The evening also provided an opportunity to recognise several individuals honoured for their extraordinary contributions to the profession. Congratulations to all of our new Fellows, Subspecialists and award recipients. We look forward to seeing the impact you will make as the future leaders of our profession!
