To celebrate Pride Month, we’re sharing the stories and experiences of Randstad colleagues in our #VoicesOfPride series 📢 Bryan Hewitt, Director of Talent Experience, Randstad Canada, knows firsthand the importance of genuine belonging 💙 “I am incredibly grateful to have lived openly as a gay man for the majority of my career, since my early twenties,” he explains. “Coming from a traditional, rural and religious upbringing, the inclusive and supportive community we have built here at Randstad means the world to me.” Now, as chair of Randstad Proud in Canada & Member of the Global Pride BRG, he is helping colleagues understand why inclusion is so important in an organization 🤝 “My personal motto in life is to control what you can control, and at work, that means controlling the dialogue in your immediate circle,” he says. “Don't wait for a colleague to come out to show your support; instead, proactively and casually normalize inclusive conversations in your everyday meetings. “You never know who is quietly listening, and your vocal acceptance could be the exact, invisible lifeline a teammate needs to feel safe."
