For one weekend, engineering gave way to running shoes.🌉🏃‍♂️ As part of its official inauguration weekend, the Dronning Margrethe II Bridge was temporarily opened to runners, cyclists, and local communities, joined by HRH Crown Prince Christian representing the Danish royal family last week. For many involved in the project, it was a rare moment to experience the bridge differently, not as drawings, plans, or construction milestones, but as something already beginning to connect with people. In the years ahead, the bridge will strengthen a key rail and road corridor between Zealand and Falster, supporting regional mobility and future connections between Denmark and Germany. 💪🤝 Moments like these are a reminder that infrastructure is about more than engineering. It is about creating connections between people, places, and opportunities.
