Many thanks to German media including Tagesschau and #ARD podcasts for covering today the major cuts of German international aid including our perspectives & #Missio Hilfswerk Welthungerhilfe (WHH) Ziviler Friedensdienst der GIZ Why the new German budget with further major cuts in #development aid, #climate protection and a #humanitarian budget 70% lower than only a few years ago is a major mistake - in terms of Germany's values and its foreign policy standing - has been well covered in these reports. They also confirm that it is a myth German public and voters don't care about Germany's aid engagement.
