Circle or Square? We live in a time when we’ve been polarized for a long time now, and everyone has to choose one or the other. And it’s true: a circle and a square are fundamentally different. At the same time, in this heated atmosphere, this artwork by Timm Ulrichs (“Die Quadratur des Kreises”) at the "Museum Ritter" helps me personally to reflect on the fact that it is not merely a matter of perspective. For often, things are connected in a higher dimension. It is far from my intention to downplay the differences, but rather to encourage us to seek out what unites us. I find it intriguing to wonder: is it that we cannot see it, or that we do not want to see it? Thanks to the artist and the Museum Ritter for this food for thought. I highly recommend a visit to everyone, and take the time to experience this transformation! Thanks also to Ritter Sport, where you also can find the Museum in Waldenbuch, Germany
