Regenerative agriculture only works if the people verifying it truly understand it. Last month, the Rainforest Alliance Quality of Implementation team for Asia Pacific, led by Narendra Mohan, trained certification bodies on our Regenerative Agriculture Standard across two locations: Bali, Indonesia and Araku Valley, India. The sessions brought together leading certification bodies operating across the region, including CERES - CERtification of Environmental Standards GmbH, Control Union Sri Lanka, INDOCERT, IMO Control Private Limited, Preferred by Nature, SDS, ECOCERT Group for a series of interactive training sessions covering our Sustainable Agriculture and Regenerative Agriculture Standard requirements, assurance rules, audit planning and implementation, and evidence collection. The goal was simple: to build the shared knowledge and alignment that makes credible, consistent certification possible at scale across Asia Pacific.
