Beneath the Canopy is back! In celebration of Earth Month, we're heading to Uganda's lush Rwenzori Mountains—also known as the “Mountains of the Moon." Join us on Thursday, April 30, from 10–11 a.m. EST for a conversation on how integrated approaches to education, livelihoods, and gender equality are helping address the root causes of child labor in Uganda’s coffee‑growing communities. Our speaker panel features: 🌱 Rashida Nakabuga, Country Director, Uganda, Rainforest Alliance 🌱 Emmanuel Bukomeko, Impact Programs Consultant, Rainforest Alliance 🌱 Okaya John Bosco, Community Empowerment for Rural Development (CEFORD)  🌱 Samuel Mafabi, Kyagalanyi Coffee Limited (KCL) Together, they'll spotlight the Rwenzori Education, Livelihoods, and Gender Project, a multi‑year partnership supporting over 3,000 coffee farmers to build more resilient, equitable futures. Grounded in the understanding that child labor cannot be addressed in isolation, the project strengthens access to education, financial literacy, youth skills development, and gender‑responsive community initiatives—while reinforcing responsible business practices across the coffee supply chain.   𝗥𝗦𝗩𝗣 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 👉  https://lnkd.in/gE7rZcmb #RainforestAlliance #Webinar #GenderEquality #ChildLabor #SupplyChain #ResponsibleSourcing #SustainableCoffee
