And that's a wrap on our first-ever training on the Rainforest Alliance Regenerative Agriculture Standard (RAS) for coffee certificate holders in East and Southern Africa! 🎉 The two-day, in-person training brought together 34 participants from ECOM Agroindustrial Corp. Ltd. and Neumann Kaffee Gruppe (NKG) coffee value chains across Kenya and Tanzania, including agronomy managers, farm managers, extension officers, and project implementation teams. Blending classroom sessions with hands-on field learning, participants gained practical insights on: 🌱 Improving soil health 🌱 Building resilient coffee systems 🌱 Enhancing biodiversity across coffee landscapes The best part of this milestone: participants unanimously committed to implementing RAS as an add-on to the Sustainable Agriculture Standard in Kenya and Tanzania. 👏 A special thank you to Ruera Coffee Estate for hosting the field sessions and leading by example in regenerative agriculture.
